Place 1/2 cup of the instant oatmeal mix into a jar, followed by 1 tbsp of the heavy cream powder, and finally 2 tbsp of the freeze-dried strawberry pieces. Tightly screw on the lid, and set aside until ready to eat. To eat, pour the strawberries and cream instant oatmeal into a bowl, and add 1-1 1/2 cups boiling water. Cover, and allow the oatmeal to cook for 5 minutes or until thickened to your liking!
Stir and Enjoy!
You can also top this homemade oatmeal with whipped cream and fresh strawberries!
Strawberries and Cream Instant oatmeal can be stored in a cool, dry spot for up to 1 month.
If this recipe isn't quite sweet enough for your liking, feel free to add any sweetener of your choice. Brown sugar, white sugar, coconut sugar, maple syrup, and even honey will all work great!
You can also make this recipe extra creamy by using hot milk in place of the hot water. Any type of milk will work, even strawberry milk! Personally, I like to use whole milk, but you can use any type of milk you like, even non-dairy milk! Almond milk, coconut milk, cashew milk, and soy milk will all work well!
Feel free to add any of your favorite toppings to this recipe! Vanilla extract, fresh berries, fresh fruit, a pinch of salt, a splash of cream, and chia seeds would all be delicious!
