Roasted Garlic & Parmesan Cheesy Pull-apart Bread

This roasted garlic and parmesan cheesy pull-part bread recipe is packed full of flavor and takes little to no time to make. This garlic parmesan bread is additively delicious, makes the perfect side or starter, and is packed full of flavorful roast garlic, and melty cheese!

Ingredients
  

for the garlic butter

  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 heads roasted garlic
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp dried or fresh parsley 

for the cheesy bread

  • 1 an uncut loaf of bread be sure to use a larger crusty loaf of bread, I like to use sourdough or Italian bread. But you can also use French bread, a French baguette, or your favorite homemade loaf!
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Melt your butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, until hot and bubble, squeeze the garlic cloves out of each head of garlic into the butter. Use a fork to gently mash the roasted garlic cloves into the hot butter. 
  • Add the salt and parsley and cook stirring continually, just until hot. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside until ready to use. 
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper, and set aside.
  • Place your uncut loaf of bread on a cutting board, then with a sharp knife, cut the bread  3/4 of way down into 1-inch diagonal slices. Turn the bread and slice in the opposite direction, creating roughly 1-inch cubes across the top of the bread. 
  • Place the cut bread on your prepared baking sheet.
  • Then use your figures to create some space between each ''slice'', and drizzle the garlic butter into each space. It might seem like a lot of butter, but be sure to use all of it!
  • Stuff each gap in the bread with the grated parmesan cheese, doing your best to keep an equal amount in each one.
  • Cover the loaf loosely with a large piece of aluminum foil, and place the bread in a preheated oven. And bake for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and the top of the bread is golden brown. Remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Serve this cheesy garlic bread warm with your favorite soup or pasta!

Notes

Any leftover bread can be wrapped tightly in plastic wrap or foil and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days! To reheat your garlic bread, wrap the loaf loosely in foil and place it in the oven at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes.
 
If you feel this recipe calls for too much garlic for your personal taste, feel free to use just one head of roasted garlic or even just a few cloves!
 
I love to use parmesan cheese for this recipe, but you can also use mozzarella, cheddar, or a blend of your favorite cheeses!
 
To make this recipe extra flavorful, try adding some fresh herbs, or crushed red pepper flakes to the garlic butter!
