If you are making this drink just for yourself(or a few friends) and you have leftover champagne. You can easily save it and keep it bubbly, by placing a spoon handle in the neck of the bottle, then covering it with a tea towel or plastic wrap.
The spoon with keep the champagne fresh and bubbly, while the tea towel will keep out any dust or flies.
You can also look for resealing bottles if you know you are going to make this in a small batch. There are quite a few brands that sell champagne in these bottles now, and let me tell you, they are a lifesaver! That being said, however, more often than not I just use a spoon to save any leftover champagne and it hasn't failed me once!
Edible glitter will start to sink after a while. So be sure to serve your drink as soon as it's done, and give a quick stir as well.
