Equipment

  • glass for serving Champagne flutes, a martini glass, a rocks glass, or your favorite cocktail glass will all work perfectly for this recipe!

Ingredients
  

  • champagne of choice You can also use sparkling wine for this recipe
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate syrup homemade or store-bought
  • 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds fresh or frozen

Mocktail Version

  • ginger beer. (ginger beer is the European equivalent of ginger ale soda, so don't let the name fool you, ginger beer is completely alcohol-free!) You can also use ginger ale soda, sparkling water, or even your favorite lemon-lime soda
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate syrup homemade or store-bought
  • 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds fresh or frozen

Instructions
 

Cocktail Instructions

  • Carefully pour your champagne into your glass of choice, filling it roughly 2/3 of the way up. Pour in 2 tbsp of pomegranate syrup, and let the cocktail sit for a moment so the syrup sinks into the bottom of the glass.
  • Add roughly 1 tbsp of pomegranate seeds and serve immediately.
  • Enjoy!

  • Carefully pour your ginger beer(or beverage of choice) into your glass, filling it roughly 2/3 of the way up. Pour in 2 tbsp of pomegranate syrup, and let it sit for a moment so the syrup sinks into the bottom of the glass.
  • Add roughly 1 tbsp of pomegranate seeds and serve immediately.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

I like to serve this cocktail with the pomegranate seeds floating in it as a form of garnish, but you can easily leave them out if you are having trouble finding them or simply don't want to be bothered with an extra step!
