- 1 lb seasoned french fries I like to use seasoned frozen fries, but you can use any kind of French fries you like! Waffle fries, steak fries, crinkle fries, homemade french fries, or even tater tots for this recipe!
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese I like to use sharp cheddar, but you can use any kind you like! You can even add different cheeses along with or in place of the cheddar. Some of my favorites are, mozzarella cheese, Monterey jack cheese, and pepper jack cheese!
- 1/2 lb crispy bacon crumbled
- 1 tomato diced
- 1/2 head iceberg lettuce shredded
- Ranch dressing homemade or store-bought
Cook your french fries according to package directions until, golden brown and crispy. You can cook your fries in the oven or air-fryer, or even deep fry them! Be sure to cook your fries in a single layer to ensure they are all equally crispy!
Place your cooked fries on a large serving plate/platter or a baking sheet(you can also line your serving plate with parchment paper to make for super easy clean up!)
Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the hot fries, followed by the shredded cheddar cheese, and allow the cheese to melt slightly before adding the remaining toppings, about 1-2 minutes.
Add the diced tomato and shredded lettuce, and finish with a generous drizzle of ranch dressing over the top. Serve immediately, and enjoy!
Any leftover loaded fries can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days! To reheat your fries, place them on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees F, or until hot, serve topped with extra ranch dressing!
If you are looking to make homemade fries for this recipe I would recommend using russet potatoes or sweet potatoes. And of course, be sure to season your fries once they are cooked!
To make these fries extra flavourful, you can season your fries with a dry ranch seasoning mix before cooking! You can find my homemade ranch seasoning mix recipe HERE!
